Story
At Kosmopolite Disaster Response, we believe in the power of community and shared responsibility. Inspired by the ancient ideal of cosmopolitanism, where every individual is a citizen of the world, we are driven by the belief that helping others ultimately strengthens us all.

Our founders are both U.S. military veterans with nearly a decade of combined experience on the frontlines of disaster response. They’ve served communities across the country following hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and other emergencies, developing critical skills in route clearance, debris removal, and heavy equipment operations, while building lasting partnerships with those affected.

After witnessing the ongoing need for fast, efficient, and community-centered disaster relief, they launched Kosmopolite Disaster Response to meet that need head-on.
With a commitment to fiscal responsibility, a zero-debt philosophy, and a focus on maximizing donor impact, we provide essential recovery services at no cost to survivors.

Today, we remain a small but skilled crew, ready to scale with the help of spontaneous volunteers and stand alongside communities as they take their first steps toward recovery. We restore access. We restore hope.
